Message from the Founder & CEO

My name is Ling Hsu, and I am a proud Taiwanese-American and the founder and CEO of Velouteux (pronounced voo-loo-too), a name inspired by the French word for soft and velvety. The company is based in Los Angeles, and this embodies our simple yet timeless concept: nurturing beautifully healthy, soft, and velvety skin every day.

From a young age, I was taught to care for and “feed” my skin with intention. Over the years, I became deeply fascinated by the transformative power of skincare, especially when Western and Eastern ingredients come together in harmony. Through countless experiences from luxury skincare to everyday products, I’ve learned that real change happens when we combine quality formulations with consistency.

Velouteux was born from that belief. Our products are thoughtfully handcrafted with mostly natural ingredients from nature such as flowers, fruits, and botanicals enhanced with Western technology to ensure that all skin types feel pampered throughout the day and deeply restored at night.
